"Oh, you're superman, huh? How honored am I. I didn't know I was dealing with a super hero!" he made his voice sound like an old Godzilla damsel in distress call. He chuckled and shrugged some. It was nice when Tony interlaced their fingers, a soft smile appearing on his lips.
Douglass then nodded, "I remember, I remember." He pushed the other's arm lightly when he said he was called Clark Kent. "Asshat," he muttered with a smile. "It is a common name, I like it, too. You should keep it, ya know," he chuckled some to himself.
He directed the other to the parking garage that was connected to his building. He led the man up to one of the highest floors of the building. Douglass was worried that Faavo would watch the security cameras and see Tony. He didn't want the other put into anymore danger because of him. The place was swanky, not as swanky as Tony's, but pretty nice. As soon as you walked in there was an open livingroom with modern furniture and huge picture glass windows overlooking the Hudson River and Brooklyn. There were spiral stairs up to his room, a big kitchen, and two baths.
Douglass led Tony up to his room, "This place has a nice view," he admitted quietly. "If we ever move in together we need a nice view, okay?" He smiled a bit, feeling a little awkward and wrong with Tony being in his apartment after all that happened between Douglass and Faavo. He definitely would not kiss, and barely touch Tony throughout the apartment. It just felt so wrong to him. As if he were being that nasty whore to Tony, and he didn't want to feel like that when he touched the other.
He got a couple of duffle bags that were actually his and started packing the clothes that he knew he paid for with his money. Then his movies, his lap top, school books and important things that he would need. He handed Tony his pillow and a bag to carry while Douglass carried two bags and his lap top cover. Everything else wasn't his and he didn't want to get blamed or put in debt over it.
Once down to the car with Tony he loaded his back seat and sighed, getting more and more nervous. "I'm worried," he said softly to the man. "Are you.. going to come with me? Wait a couple of blocks away? Just so he can't see you. I don't want you to be in this mess with him if it turns out bad.."
